Pedal Against Hunger by HST explained

Pedal Against Hunger organized by HST Nepal

Himalayan Single Treck (HST) is organizing a cycling challenge to reach 1000km in 24 hours to raise money for Tato Khana Sewa, the hot food kitchen. This has been established during the lockdown to support people who have been, and currently are, affected by the Covid-19 ongoing lockdown in Nepal on the 6th of June 2020.

Over the last 50 days Tato Khana has cooked over 7000 meals for the needy in the streets of Kathmandu and distributed over 500 dry food packages to families who have been affected by the Covid-19 lockdown.

Due to the lockdown, the event will be hosted in a car-park. Riders, including some of the top riders in Nepal, are invited to pedal in time slots, so we can maintain our social distancing. Part of the Battiayo Team will be amongst these cyclists.

The event will be live streamed on the HST Facebook page while riders pedal on stationary bikes set up in the hot food kitchen. $5 for every Km ridden is asked. People can sponsor as many KM as they like.
