Amitabha Buddha
Amitabha is the most ancient Buddha among the Dhyani Buddhas. His hands are showing the Samadhi Mudra. He has a lotus as a sign. When he is represented on the stupa, he is always facing west. Amitabha means "boundless light."
The body is made of copper, lost wax casting, silver and gold plated, set with filigree and set synthetic gemstones in ruby red, emerald green, lapis lazuli blue. The face is set in gold.
